2008 YMCA Sports Night
This year the YMCA honored "Simply the Best" coaches, athletes and others who have contributed as role models for Utah Youth. The 2008 honorees included; Elaine Ellliot, The Jazz Bear, Chris Waddell, Eric Heiden and Kyle Whittingham.
The evening was a great success with a record high attendance of 470 guests. The money raised from Sports Night goes to our After School and Camp Roger programs. In 2008 Sports Night raised over $113,000 to continue our mission of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
Past honorees include: Jerry Sloan, Ron McBride, Mark Eaton, Jimmy Shea Jr., Jeff Hornacek, Rod Hundley, Rulon Gardner, Spence Eccles and Larry H. Miller.
