YMCA's Sports Night to Benefit Kids is the YMCA's primary fundraiser. Sports Night is hosted by Tom Nissalke, YMCA of Greater Salt Lake CEO and former NBA coach.
This year the YMCA honored "Simply the Best" Hall of Fame mascot, the Utah Jazz “Bear,” the late Bill Daniels former ABA Utah Stars owner, University of Utah Women’s Head Basketball Coach Elaine Elliott, Five-time Winter Olympic gold medalist and Salt Lake orthopedic surgeon Eric Heiden, Gold Medallist paralympian Chris Waddell, andUniversity of Utah Head Football Coach Kyle Whittingham.
It was a wonderful evening socializing with some of the top names in Utah athletics and supporting our organization dedicated to building a stronger community. All money raised went directly towards the YMCA Before and After School programs and the renovation of Camp Roger.
