YMCA Camp Roger Rentals
Nestled on 40 beautiful acres in the Wasatch-Cache National forest, Camp Roger provides an excellent location for your next group outing. Camp Roger may be rented out for family reunions, retreats, church functions, specialty camps, school teambuilding activities, training programs and more!
Location
YMCA Camp Roger is located in Soapstone Basin along the Mirror Lake Highway, just 14.5 miles east of Kamas, Utah. It is a beautiful 60-minute drive from Salt Lake City. For driving directions, please click here.
Facilities
- You will have exclusive use of camp facilities including:
- 11 sleeping cabins, with electricity and bunkbeds for up to 10 people per cabin
- Lodge with fireplace for dining and group meeting
- 2 modern bathhouses
- Athletic field for soccer, softball and more
- Basketball Court
- Sand Volleyball Pit
- Outdoor amphitheater with campfire circle and stage
- Access to National Forest for hiking, fishing and more

Food Service
The use of the Camp Kitchen is included in the cost of rental. Meal preparation and food supplies are the responsibility of the rental group.
Availability
YMCA Camp Roger is open from June through September. Camp may be rented out on weekdays and weekends from mid-August through the end of September. Reservations are accepted for up to one year in advance.
Cost and Reservations
- Rental rate 24 hour period:
- $20.00 per person for 0-50 people.
- $15.00 per person for 50-100 people
- $10.00 per person over 100 people
