Traditional Camp : Ages 7-16
Traditional Camp at YMCA Camp Roger provides an opportunity for campers to participate in the wide range of activities offered at Camp Roger. Under the supervision of two or more counselors traditional campers will spend their week with 6-10 campers in a cabin, allowing them to grow through new friendships and experiences each year. Traditional Camp sessions begin Sunday afternoons with check-in at 3:30pm. Camp ends Friday evenings with family programming beginning at 4pm ending with check-out at 7:00pm.
YMCA Camp Roger Specialty Camps are designed for campers who are looking for more exposure to a specific activity or would like to spend a week with a focus on a particular topic. These camps offer more time and in depth instruction in the camper’s area of interest. Speciality Camp sessions begin begin Sunday afternoons with check-in at 3:30pm. Camp ends Friday evenings with family programming beginning at 4pm ending with check-out at 7:00pm.
YMCA Camp Roger Horse Camps are designed for campers with a variety of experiences looking for an opportunity to spend their week learning more about and working with horses. These programs are designed to provide participants a full camp experience. Campers will spend half of each day in the arena or on the trail, the other half of each day the campers will participate in traditional camp activities. Sessions begin begin Sunday afternoons with check-in at 3:30pm. Camp ends Friday evenings with family programming beginning at 4pm ending with check-out at 7:00pm.
The Camp Roger leadership programs are dedicated to transitioning teens into our future leaders. During their time at Camp Roger leadership campers will be learning what it means to be a leader, and the necessary skills and responsibilities involved. Leadership Camp sessions begin begin Sunday afternoons with check-in at 3:30pm. Camp ends Friday evenings with family programming beginning at 4pm ending with check-out at 7:00pm.
