YMCA After School Programs
YMCA after school programs provide safe, supervised and structured activities for students each day after school. The YMCA offers after school programs for elementary students and junior high students.
Our goal is to support the healthy development of students while assisting families that juggle work and child care. In addition, multiple studies show that students involved in after school programs have better peer relationships, higher grades and reduction in the likelihood of them becoming involved with gangs, crime and drugs.
A nominal fee is charged for the programs; however, the YMCA has financial assistance available so families will not be turned away for their inability to pay.
