Counselor-in-Training (Ages 16-17)
CITs are coming of age to participate in camp leadership. CITs will be provided the opportunity 
to continue their leadership training with a more specific focus on camp leadership. Half of their time will be focused on developing and building upon their leadership experiences and participating in teambuilding activities. The other half of their time they will be mentored, developing leadership skills by working sided by side with YMCA staff helping plan, prepare and lead camp activities and working with cabin groups. CITs are given opportunities to plan campfire activities, all camp activities, evening
programs and work side by side with YMCA staff to continue development of their leadership skills; working and learning about all the aspects that it takes to run a successful camp.
