News from Fremont
During the month of March, several students in the before school program at Fremont Elementary agreed to participate in a puppet show to be held in the library on Wednesday, March 21. Practices were held as they began to learn their parts and bring the puppets to life. On the designated day, the children performed with their puppets, a wolf and two pigs, as the narrator told the story of The Three Pigs from the perspective of the wolf. The kids and leaders had a good time watching the puppets and hearing a well-known story told in a very different way. No one really noticed that the wolf looked somewhat like a bear.
